I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the amazing atmosphere and friendly staff. We were lucky enough to sit at the counter where we could watch the Chef in action, and let me tell you, they are true culinary artists. We scored a last-minute reservation on a busy Friday night and it was the best decision ever. Every single dish we tried was outstanding. The Hummus was truly some of the best I've ever had, and the Frena bread was so delicious we had to order more. The Grilled Broccolini, Shrimp Kebab, and Steak Kebab were all cooked to perfection. And that Persimmon salad with Feta was out of this world - I'm already planning to come back next fall just to have it again! We were too full for dessert, but we did try the fruit Gazoz and it was a refreshing and delightful way to end our meal. I'm already thinking about when I can plan my return visit because this restaurant deserves a solid 10/10 rating in my book. Can't wait to go back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and let me tell you, it was a culinary delight from start to finish! The roasted caraflex cabbage dish was absolutely divine, every bite was like a piece of heaven on a plate. Despite it being a busy Monday evening when I visited at 5pm, the service was prompt and friendly. I started off with the frena and hummus, and let me tell you, the garlic on top of the frena was pure perfection and the bread was soft and fluffy. The hummus was unlike any I've ever had before, it was bursting with flavor. For my main course, I tried the roasted cauliflower which was good but nothing to write home about. The shrimp kebab, on the other hand, was excellent and cooked to perfection. But the standout dish of the night was definitely the roasted cabbage - it was out of this world! If you have the chance to snag a reservation at this restaurant, do yourself a favor and try the roasted cabbage dish. You won't regret it! I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on a busy Thursday evening and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service. Despite being fully booked, the lovely Demi managed to find a spot for us and we were taken care of by the delightful Bailey. It was evident that they really care about their customers. And don't even get me started on the food - it was absolutely phenomenal! I can't help but gush about it - truly the best meal I've had in NYC.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shukette in NYC and let me tell you, it is now one of my top restaurant picks in the city! My group of 3 was able to walk in on a busy Friday night and we were blown away by every dish we ordered. The labneh and breads are an absolute must-try, the best labneh I've ever had without a doubt. The vegetables at Shukette are simply incredible, each dish was cooked to perfection and the sauces paired beautifully. The broccolini and delicata squash were personal favorites, and the steak kebab was so juicy and delicious, especially when paired with the lentils. I also have to give a shoutout to the service at Shukette, which was both friendly and helpful. It really added to the overall wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend checking out Shukette and indulging in their delicious offerings.

Hey there foodies! Let me tell you about my unforgettable night at Shukette in NYC. This place had it all - amazing food, cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating and is adorned with charming string lights and a soundtrack of early 2000s hits. It's a vibe you won't find anywhere else! I'm a big fan of small plates, so the menu at Shukette was right up my alley. My friend and I tried a variety of dishes and here are some of our favorites: The Frena Bread was a solid 5/5. Soft, fluffy, and warm - just the way bread should be! The Not Your Average Hummus was decent, but I wish I had explored a more unique dip option. The Labneh stole the show with its creamy, dreamy texture. The Shawarma Spiced Fries were a tasty treat that paired perfectly with the dips. The Persimmon Salad was a refreshing burst of flavors and the Delicata Squash with labneh was an absolute dream. Seriously, I can't stop thinking about it! The Joojeh Chicken was flavorful, but it took a bit longer to arrive at our table. And the Tahini Soft Serve was a nice ending to the meal, even though I wasn't crazy about the savory drizzle. Overall, Shukette left me wanting more. I can't wait to return and try out the rest of the menu. If you're in the city, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to this gem of a restaurant. Happy eating!
